  • FANCO has provided liquid-metal and molten-salt analytical chemistry and plant engineering expertise since 1998. We continue to provide ongoing engineering and process consulting support to several of the preeminent advanced technology commercial nuclear power developers in the U.S. and Canada.

  • FANCO was a member of the EnergySolutions GNEP Team responsible for development of the Advanced Burner Reactor concept design for an integrated closed fuel cycle complex.

  • FANCO provides designs for complex robotic fuel handling systems to be used in extended life, liquid-metal (sodium) cooled commercial nuclear power plant design.

  • FANCO developed the performance criteria, process flow, implementing systems designs, facility layout, and general building concept design for two facilities needed to support the business planning for an advanced commercial nuclear power plant design.

  • FANCO has developed the process flow, implementing systems design concepts, facility preliminary layout, and general building layout for a fast reactor nuclear fuels remanufacturing complex.

  • FANCO has developed designs and component performance data and operations experience for plant systems, designed to segregate fission product isotopes from primary coolant and capture the isotopes for further treatment and disposition

  • FANCO developed a high-temperature heat transfer and rejection system to support an integrated project team working to improve the efficiency of water separation and recovery in the new petrochemical industry Fracking process
